I just got the phone from carphone warehouse online. I connected it to my computer and it said something about disconnect to access memory card. I don't have a memory card from what i can see. Right now the computer wont recognise the phone. What do i do? I shouldnt have to have a memory card should i?

There is a slot for a memory card in those. Maybe buy one (they're cheap now) and see what happens. Otherwise, call customer support where you bought the phone.
