no violations....Are you using a PC or Mac? On a mac, you don't need any software at all, you just have to have bluetooth capabilities, or a bluetooth adapter. You can't just drop and drag the songs from the file to the phone via USB, at least not with Macs.If you have Bluetooth and itunes on your computer, try this links directions. I have been using it for years to make and send ringtones to my phones. Its a little confusing at first, but is really easy after the first few times.http://wateronlydries.com/2005/11/make-a...UPDATE: It also depends on what phone carrier you are using. Apparently At&T/Cingular, makes this much easier to do than Verizon. Also a bluetooth adapter can be found pretty cheap at Bestbuy, its a little usb thingy that looks like a flash drive, I go one for 20 bucks. Try this link, it goes along with the Motorola tools thing the next answerer was talking about.http://www.wirelessforums.org/alt-cellul...Here's the text:"How to transfer pictures, video, & ringtones for Motorola RAZR V3Is this the best way to transfer JPG pictures, MP4 videos, and MP3ringtones back and forth between my new Motorola RAZR V3 cellphone and myWindows XP computer? After much googling, I came up with the following procedure which workedfor me (and which I'd like you to help us improve).0. Obtain & install Motorola Phone Tools v4.3.6http://direct.motorola.com/ens/MPT/MPT_F...1. Connect your Motorola phone via a standard USB cableto the Windows XP computer (bluetooth would be better)2. In MPT "Multimedia Tools", bring up the "File Transfer Studio"to transfer pics & videos back & forth between the telephone& the Windows XP computer3. In MPT "Multimedia Tools", bring up the "Melody Studio"to create, edit, & transfer ringtones & music back & forthbetween the telephone and the PC4. In "Multimedia Tools", bring up the "Video Studio"to edit & transfer videos back & forth between the telephoneand the WinXP computerIs this the best way to transfer your pictures, videos, and ringtones backand forth between the Motorola RAZR V3 cell phone and the WinXP computer?Or do you have a better way to transfer files back and forth?"
