Any Nascar fans out there who know if the Nascar Nextel Cup Awards banquet...

...will be rerun? Are there any Nascar fans out there who know if the annual Nascar Nextel Cup Awards that originally aired on November 30 will air again? I missed the original broadcast and was wondering if it will be rerun so I can tape it. I can't seem to find any information regarding it on the Internet.

I'm sorry to say that I don't think that the awards banquet will be re aired again. It was on the Nov 30th on ESPN 360 and some other station. Then it was on ESPN later that night . I think that was the only 2 airing's. I looked on Jayski.com and didn't see any listing for it again.

I don't know if it will be shown again, but you didn't miss much.Envision bad comedy, tired songs, and awful speeches.

Check with Speed-TV. My connection is so slow, NASCAR will have NEXT YEAR'S banquet on before I can get into Speed's website.http://www.speedtv.com

I have heard that Speed is showing it in January sometime. I have a suggestion for you when it does make it back on. Tape it so that you can fast forward to Tom Brockaw's tribute to Bill France Jr, Kyle's and then Smoke's speeches. If you like HMS you'll want to also watch Jeff and Rick's speeches (even though I'm a fan of Jimmie's his speech was boring, again). That's pretty much all you need to watch.
