Any way to fix Nextel I930 after water damage??

I have a Nextel I930 that I dropped in a puddle a couple of days ago.. I immediately removed the battery and sim card and I have not tried to turn it on yet.. Is there any way that the phone may work once it dries out and if not will the sim card still work in another phone or will that have been damaged from the water also?
