Can I use a nextel phone to vote on american idol??

I want to vote on american idol tonight using my cell phone but I am not an AT&T subscriber. Can I still vote using my cell even though it's a nextel? I read how to vote on the american idol website and I could not find my answer

I know this may be a stupid question but I'm just curious!

Yes you can you dont have to have at&t but American idol it sponsored by at&t that doesn't mean you have to have at&t to vote....Vote for David Archuleta
