will my SIM for my nextel i355 will work in a RIM BlackBerry 7520 for Nextel?

If I just insert my chip in the new phone will it work? Again old phone i355 new phone RIM BlackBerry 7520 Bluetooth GPS PDA Phone for Nextel.

I took my SIM card from a Motorola i710 and put it into a Blackberry 7510 (for nextel) and it worked fine.You may have to upgrade or change your phone plan though to get all the features of the blackberry from Nextel though.

Nope,it won't work,nextel network is iDEN non compatible with blackberry (GSM-EDGE-GPRS) even when RIM built a model or two for nextel long time ago,RIM has built a few versions,of their newer models for companies like sprint and verizon (8000 series,pearl,curve and 8800 series) these two companies are CDMA networks or high speed internet,but RIM products are made basically for GSM networks,iDEN,CDMA and EDGE networks are different
