Nokia 6070 keep on showing the symbol of earphone connected on the screen...

...even when it is not connected.? Please help me to solve this problem. Because of that i can not hear anything through earline output unless I put on the speaker. Do not suggest me to take to workshop. coz that is my last option. I know you are more smart than them..

Blow in your phone or blow out. I know sounds crazy but I did that to my phone and i was able to hear again!! Put your mouth on the talking part and just suck in do this a couple of times and then try it if it doesn't work then I'm sorry.

i had a similar problem on LG phone. it is possibly due to a dust/water contamination or a short in a circuit. try opening the phone and blowing some high-pressure air into it. for a while, i could shake the phone and ear piece connection would disappear for a bit. However, that did not last and I had to replace the phone.
