My phone broke and I looking to purchase a contract free phone. Since Bell is using CDMA, I was wondering if I can buy a phone from another network (Say Sprint) and use it with Bell? Has anyone tried it?I also thought of buying a prepaid one, but I read somewhere that Bell doesn't want to activate a Solo Mobile phone if I chose to use it as a replacement for my old phone.

Bell doesnt have SIM cards so you cant switch everything over from another phone. If you buy a new phone and want to save you account at Bell you can always ask to acctivate a new phone on the exsisting line then cancel your first phone!
