Hi i need help is there a way i can unlock my katana phone(6600) to work for mobi pcs? I have alot of phones and i dont want to pay 20 bucks each to unlock them.yea i know it sucks this is not for me i just want to unlock it to sell. btw i have a motorola razr.

Now that mostly everyone can have their verizon and sprint unlocked to flash for Mobi PCS services, there are a few thinks you would need to know. If you decide that you want to do the unlock yourself, be aware that you can do it wrong and you probably don't have a backup to correct it. No matter which way you do it, here is something else to be aware of, you need to make sure of what type of Mobi services your unlocked phone can do. In most cases a basic unlocking of your phones will only give you phone and text services. You need to make sure of this up front or your just wasting time and money. Even with PDA smartphones, the unlocking could only be for phone and text. The more experienced person that can unlock a phone to support full features will cost a bit more then you would probably like to pay. But if your Mobi services entail "Everything" or "PDA", make sure you're getting that. The basic unlock services provided by most DOES NOT include Picture messaging and Web. I use my unlocked Sprint Rumor on Mobi (I only have phone and text) and I have no problems. Good luck!
