New Tracfone saying "SIM Failed" when I turn it on?

OK, I just got a new tracfone, i had one before but now i'm trying to activate the new one. HELP!!!

It means your SIM card is corrupted in it.

That means your SIM card does not work. i had the same problem when i had a pre paid Cingular phone. I would recommend getting a new phone, b/c idk how you can get a new SIM card for Tracfone unless you send mail, or call customer service. But get a new phone, if prepaid, get one of the big company ones like virgin mobile, Cingular, or one of those ones
