Sprint PCS phone out of service or area??

Hi, my ex-friend went to egypt to visit family. i tryed calling him cause he said he would be back in like a month. His phone says : The number or code you entered is incorrect, check the number or code and try again, message 146-7. what does this mean?? is it out of range the service cause its so far or is it canceled??

If your friend is still in Egypt, the person might have the phone on a vacation plan and not taken with them due to the fact if they called the USA, they would be charged a whole lot for international roaming. Best to wait when they come back and then phone.
