im planning to buy one from helio.i went thru store locaterand i got national and authorized retailer stores.i understand i can buy phones therebut could i also sign up for service there also?i called national retailer and they said i cant sign up there and have to call or order online for service.that means i have to give them my credit card number.my mom doesnt want to do thatand she just wants to give them cash or check.so i was wonderng if tis possible to go somewhere and sign up.help?also is helio comapny trust worthy?is it possible for them to keep sending me bills after the contract ends or someting like that??

Actually, no they do NOT need your credit card information. Also, you CAN sign up in a store that is an authorized dealer. Do NOT buy the phone and then add the service afterwards, you'll be ripping yourself off. Get the phone and the contract at the same time. As a side note, I have Helio services myself and am growing unsatisfied. The only problem I have is that it doesn't work everywhere, and if you have any problems, you have to live in California in order to visit a corporate store without discussing your issues over the phone. Take it this way: the person who talked to over the phone didn't know what they were talking about...take that as a hint about the company overall.

im pretty sure u can do everything at ur local store. I have an Ocean and its awesome,i got it half-price in L.A cuz i bought it at a Korean retailers and they have a big reputation of selling cheap deals.I dunno bout the bills,my dad takes care of them
