Default pantech duo?is it a good phone?READ FIRST!?

Hi. I have at&t and i have to get a new phone in february. I am around the age of 13 and I am a girl. I want a phone with a slide out keyboard but one that is not buisnessy looking. I wanted the tilt but,too complictated for my age. Is the pantech duo good? for any one who has it, does it have mms templates and little pictures for when you send texts? If not,is there a way to get them on to the phone? I couldn't find any other phones from AT&T i wanted. sorry this is so long. will there be other phones out like this one y february or different colors of the duo? i dont want an i phone so dont suggest that. merry christmas!thanks and sorry its so long!!

Well, I think the Pantech Duo is not the best phone for you, this phone (as other Smart Phones) have the focus on business or people that gets the best of every electronic thing they have. It's very nice looking, it takes nice photos (Even if it has only a 1.3 MP Camera, say not so big pictures), but the keys are small so is difficult to write something on this.Of course it has MMS, even more, it's loaded with a lot of stuff (SMS, HSDPA, MP#, AAC, H.263, M-PEG 4, and so on), in other words it can connect to Internet faster and can play music and videos. But the really mean of this phone is the applications you can install.... yes you can install games, but the real use is Calendars, Appointments, Contacts, Notes, documents, and so on...If you like the phone by it's design, go ahead, nothing is going to change your mind form buying it. But if you want a better phone check out the Helios Ocean, nicer design and better use. Even more, it looks a lot less than a business phone. My recomendation Helios Ocean.

im a little older than you & i get that you dont want a business-y phone. id get the pantech duo. it looks cool & it's not too businessy. ive used it & its really good. another really good phone is the blackberry pearl. It looks really nice and is a business phone but it's not hard to use like other business phones. (like other blackberrys & palm treos) theyll have all the things you want. so overall, pamtech duo or blackberry pearl.merry xmas to you too!
