...how can i counter this.? It's basically out of remote range. i cant move it from where it is, so i guess i need some kind of remote(maybe infrared) extender. I,ve looked online, but only see sky remote exetender. ive also gone in shops, and the ones ive seen are not compatible with projectors. help.

That's the perfect solution. I was given the same solution by agb90spruce and it works fine. Don't look for anything else and try this out.
