cellphones-lg vu vs. pantech duo?

so i want to get a new cellphone from at&t and i need to pick between the lg vu(without tv) or the pantech duo....which one is better for a teenager who texts a lotalso what are some pros and cons for these phonesi would prefer to get the vu but i need to kno is it a good phone or is it simply a waste of money??
