mitsubishi Lancer evolution 9 mr boost control?

Alright i have a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR it is 100% stock and i just installed a boost control on it.......what is the max PSI i am allowed to adjust it to......i am goin 2 put an intake exhaust etc when i have the money 4 it really soon but for now i want to know how much boost am i allowed to push it to in a 100% stock situation....and also how should i use it to be safe? thnx for the help

Sorry but i dont mean to be rude, but ignore the previous answers. Dont boost all the way. That can cause HUGE DAMAGE to your engine internals.For a stock car, tuners say its ok to boost till 21 PSI. But on a personal note, I have my boost set to 19-20 PSI just to be on the safe-side. Its very important that once to get a complete TURBO BACK exhaust, you get yourself a boost guage and an AEM wideband. With all these, you are ready to have your car pro tuned.
