Okay, I just bought my dream car...A 1993 Mitsubishi 3000 GT. My goal is to restore the car to a brand new condition wile making luxury upgrades to the car...I am hoping to end up with a like new semi-custom luxury sports car. At this point I have not started the work but the car is in good running order. If you have any advice, suggestions or if you can point me to some good online resources that would be great...I do have a few specific questions that fallow...1: Dashboard refinishing/replacement My dash/console/door panels are sun-faded and I would like them to be like new2: Instrument cluster Its currently the 1993 factory, I wold like to replace it with something more contemporaryIf you can point me in the right direction I would be thankful.

A quick search of eBay will find you some products and product names for things like the instrument cluster face. Personally I think its hard to beat OEM.If the plastics are faded you can repaint them. They make paint with the right amount of low low gloss for that kind of application. It would be easiest to take your dashboard out to do this, but that is one heck of a job. If you do this, it will be easy to mess with your instrument panel and you might as well replace your heater core and clean out the a/c box.
