I changed the lamp on my Benq PB8220 projector at 1625 hours but was not able to reset the lamp usage timer. Now the projector automatically shuts off saying the lamp has exceeded it's limit of 2000 hours whereas in actualality it has only ran for 375 hours. I removed the lamp and re-installed it but was unable to reset the lamp usage timer. However the problem presists. Please advice.















The guy who answered first.. we already tried that and it still didn't work. Does anyone else have any other idea?? THANK YOU!

According to the manual:































Within 10 minutes of powering on,















1) Press the Exit button on the projector for 3 seconds to display the total used lamp time.















2) Press the MENU button on the projector during the lamp hour message. An adjustment message will appear.















3) Press the left or right arrow keys to reset lamp hours (or press EXIT to leave).































If that's not the procedure you used, give it a try!
