I'm trying to decide between the 2 and I'd rather choose quality over price. It seems they're very similar so I'm looking for people's experiences with either. I've also heard contrast ratio of 1000:1 is better than the 'erratic' 3000:1 dynamic contrast settings if people have any advice on that (you can choose with the 2408WFP). I'm not a gamer, so this would be mainly for viewing hi definition movies and my photos/videos. When I can afford them I'd like to watch bluray too, so any advice on that would be great too.Thanks so much to anyone who offers help!

Don't know much about the BenQ, but the Dell 2408 gets good reviews. I've always been pleased with Dell monitors, I have one for home, and order them for work.
