Default How can I connect my Dell inspiron 6400 laptop to my Mitsubishi HD tv?

I want to connect my laptop to my Mitsubishi HD tv. I have a Dell 6400 Inspiron. What cables do I use? Are the cables cheap? Is the image good or ok? Where can I find the cables?

Most laptops have a VGA video output on the side or rear. Newer laptops have HDMI. You need to use a VGA or HDMI cable to connet to your tv set. Most HDTV sets have both VGA and HDMI connections so that shouldnt be a problem. Any local electronics store should have the cable you need.

On the back of your laptop, you should have a blue 15-pin port. This is called your VGA port. An HDTV should have an HDMI port so you could look for some of those, they are the best quality.















Here are some cables you could look at:































VGA to VGA:

Or the simples cable is an S-Video Cable.
