Default 1993 honda prelude h22a1 vtech not working?

so i was changing my header and painting my valve cover and after finishing all of that i drove the car the next day and relized my vtech was not working and i recelntly changed my oil. It would kick in at about 5k and now it just accelerates like a reg car without v tech .. i checked my conections and they are all free of debris but the next thing i will do is clean my v tech solonoid , any suggestions on any thing else to look for to get my vtech back again??

sometimes v-tech's can stick on or off.

it all has to do with centrifugal force. and lifting the valves higher and longer...

i would sea-foam the thing. and rev it up pretty good a couple times. see if you can get it unstuck...

that's what i'd do.
