All drives can be flashed. You need a VIA chipset with sata interface (via card or Nforce motherboards work). Many other motherboards also work...try yours and see. If it doesn't work the worst thing that will happen is you will have wasted your time opening the console (the hardest part I think). You also 32bit windows if you don't want to do it in DOS. I use jungle flasher as I think it's the easiest but there are many other programs for doing it
