no she's not. just let her use yours 30 minutes a day so you can keep an eye on what's she's doing.EDIT----- great another spoiled brat on the rize expecting everything to get handed to her on a silver platter. she should be playing with friends not electronics or 4 wheelers. i'm sure you'll sue the company when she gets hurt too.

at the moment theres not really anything mainly for kids to use main way to get something is just to buy a regular laptop and put programs on it that make it kid friendly for internet use or whatever there using it for. there is a company coming out with a kid friendly laptop but it was just announced this year so it won't be out for a little while.

At this age you shouldn't buy her a computer. You should get her one when she is 12 years old by then she will be in middle school. By that time she will have to do typed reports and look up stuff on the internet. Computers are expensive and complicated, even for adults with experience. They can be a big pain sometimes. You also have consider is she really as good as you think she is with the computer? Accessing the internet, making folders, saving documents, installing software, knowing the different parts, and so on. Computers are not as easy as some people beileve.

They make 12 in laptops which I think is a nice small size for a kid. You can also custom make them so it can have more space for games, like you said she plays. I think you should get her a Pink Dell 12 in laptop! Very adorable and not too expensive

hi, i too cannot find a decent childs pc/laptop...which doesn't insult they're intelligence...but offers the(restricted) freedom of exploring and learning....please let me know if you have any luck..also, it looks like this is a Big gap in the market....good luck. you could try one i know of, called a PeeWee. its got alot of gud tech/gadgets, that will impress the kids..
