new treo (verizon)?

i got a treo 650 and had verizon activate it as my phone, 4 days later i got a bill for $44 for ultimate data, i do not want this, can i cancel the data and use the treo or is the data bundled with the treo. Also is there a pay as you go option for the data (internet and e-mail)
