I have a lump under the skin on my left hand. It's located at the base of my ring finger, but on my palm, NOT my finger (it's almost as if its opposite my ring finger knuckle). There is no deformation on the skin (no warts, swelling, bruising etc.) but it feels odd- sharp and 'boney'. Only hurts when pressed, not just in general. I've noticed no lack of action from that finger/hand- seems to be 'working' fine. It's just the odd lump.

it may just be a cyst...its nothing to be too concerned about..you may want to see your MD to have it removed if it bothers you
