Default Have you ever heard of surgery to correct sweaty palms? ?

What does it entail? Is it something usually covered by insurance? Or is it considered cosmetic?

yes, they make a small slit in your armpit, collapse your lung, a cut a nerve that causes overly sweaty palms. usually they'll only do one side at a time, however in some cases they do both. some insurance companies cover it if it is something you can prove affects your daily life. otherwise, it's considered cosmetic.

I have heard of the surgery however,I do not know what it entails..( there was a medicare scam going on with this surgery in LA which is how I heard of it ) I would look at Botox it can stop the sweating..alot of people get shots in their underarms to stop underarm sweat so I am sure you can get an injection in your hands.

It is considered cosmetics. You may not go to surgery.. you can buy an ointment/cream to be spread on your palms and is effective for 24hours per application. Please consult a doctor about it.
