The Sun wheel symbol which is similar to the swastika was used for centuries as an agricultural symbol of the changing seasons. The pentagram has also been used by various cultures throughout history (including christianity as a symbol of the wounds of jesus) and is now commonly used for religions such as Wicca and Satanism. In Wicca the points represent earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. Inverted in Wicca it is a symbol in some traditions of the 2nd degree in which the person is dealing with more earthly problems than spiritual ones at that time.

(My IQ is 120, and I always get high grades in most subjects) Evil is just an idea. The intention of the Swastika is not evil. It actually originally represented good luck, but Hitler turned it into an evil symbol. It is the symbol of the Duality of Brahma in Hinduism, and represents Universal Harmony in Buddhism. Far from Evil. Murder is evil in western society, but is perfectly normal in some non-western societies. Evil is a matter of perception. It's evil to some people, good to others. Good vs. Evil is too general, there's a lot in between the two.In short, a symbol becomes stigmatized as 'evil', when in fact, it's original intention was as 'good'. It just depends on whether a Holy Man or a psychotic Serial Killer uses it.

Depends on what you consider evil. If you don't understand someone or don't like them that doesn't make them evil. If you study the theology behind various approaches to religion you'll be amazed at what you find about the origins of monotheistic thinking. A good hard look into Egyptology is shocking when you compare it to the writings of Moses. BTW, I'm not for or against any one religion. Religion is simply religion. In my opinion Gnosticism is the correct angle in approaching God...

I rub elbows with the freakin' devil, I study demons, and the occult is one of my favorite topics......I have a chihuahua for a pet, I squeal over our herd of cats, I read romance novels, cried at The Notebook and I'm generally one of the most fluffy people you'll ever meet, generally speaking.Just because you practice magics and all that doesn't make you evil, and 9 times out of 10, the stuff that people say is "evil" really isn't. So all this babble about the eye and pyramid and stuff being wicked is just bullcrap.A good rule of thumb is to ignore the Abrahamic traditions-- Christianity, Judaism, Islam. They're based mostly in fear, guilt, anger and all sorts of nasty emotions and their history is remarkable only in the sense that they've murdered millions of people and still manage to be endorsed as a GOOD thing. If they're flailing over something being "OMG EVIL!", chances are it's not actually that bad.And that includes the Masons.Cheers.
