Palm Treo 700w for Verizon?

Do I need to get a data plan for this phone when I activate it from my house? I baught the phone off of ebay, and I dont think that I need a data plan? It will just work on my regular verizon plan? PLEASE HELP

You have to have a data plan for the Treo with Verzion as they now require it. If you don't then your mms messages would cost you a whole lot every time you send one. Accessing the internet would cost you per mb. It runs about $45 a month for an unlimted data plan on a Treo through Verizon.
