I use Verizon's Inpulse Pay-As-You-Go Plan, but I'm wanting to get a Palm...

...Treo for work purposes? The phone is on eBay, so I made sure that it is unlocked, but the seller doesn't know whether or not it could be used. Does anyone else know? My dad bought an iPhone and used pre-paid ATT cards solely for the Internet, but I don't know if this is the same.

Any help would be appreciated.
