Default Indoor Cascade Palm With No Leaves?

I have a potted Cascade Palm inside, and my cats have completely stripped it of all it's leaves and eaten them so basically it's just a bit green stalk now, but still living.I've taken it away from where they can get to it now, but wondering what i can do for it to encourage it to grow new foliage, if anything? Any plant tips would be welcome! Getting rid of the cats is not an option before anyone suggests it!Also any advice as to types of hardy, indoor plants that cats are not attracted to???
