Default Palm Treo 680?

I want to be able to play real ringtones. What format should I convert them to?

I'm not sure, but there are Music Tones or polyphonic ring tones. I tried to download them for my Treo 650 from the Rolling Stones Cingular / AT&T website. They had two versions of some, and I agree that the Musictones sound much better than the polyphonic "electronic" ones.. Anyway, I got a phone call, so I never completed the task. Check your instruction manual or the Carrier's website.I "Googled" At& T /Cingular Ringtones by Rolling Stones and came up with several hits. You can hear a sample by clicking on the speaker.http://mediamall.wireless.att.com/sf/storefront/endUserHTMLDir.jsp?dc=0&c1=CFWEB700&c2=CFWEB711&c3 =CFWEB1415&trail=all%20CFWEB1247%20CFWEB1415
