You could have a point. The way Boston plays defense its almost like they play a zone and everyone helps the other players by overplaying the ball. KG's job is to protect the rim and he always comes over to help out and that's how he's getting his blocks and rebounds. The same way Ben Wallace won his award in 2004, mainly because of his help defense. KG's one-on-one defense is not that good because he is so skinny and he gets abused down low. That's why he shoots so many jump shots and doesn't bang down low. He may be slightly overrated but I won't say he didn't deserve the award because I can't think of who else should have won it. Marcus Camby had an off year and the Celtics did have an amazing turnaround from last year. You make a good point though.
