It's ok to meet people, but only in a public place!!! Make sure you have your own place to stay, do some research on the area before you get there. If you go there planning to stay at his place, you are taking a chance with your life. He could be your worst nightmare.....you never know!

sounds really dodgy.you must be sooo careful of what you are getting into, you need absolute PROOF he IS what he says he is.get him to make a video of himself and post it up on youtube with a password for you to see.to many people are kidnapped in similar scenarios.just trying prevent a murder.

This guy could be anyone---have your eyes wide open when writing to someone like this--he could be a complete imposter looking for entertainment. You wants you to know up front that he has money? That's a red flag immediately. This could be anyone--a man or woman....a con artist. Be careful.
