what color shoes to wear with a red (garnet) dress?

I found some red/garnet shoes. the shoes are almost the same hue and it compliments the dress. just wondering if I should find some black/gold shoes instead. please helpno one likes the red shoes????the ocassion is for a wedding.

Really, it depends on what the occasion is and your skintone. If you've got a tan, gold will look amazing. If not, I'd go with the red or black. Gold also is more flashy, red is sexy and black is elegant and classic...go with what you want to say.
