Which of these plasma TVs is better Panasonic TH-42PE7U or the Samsung HPT4254?

I have ordered both tvs. They are EXACTLY the same price $899 + tax. The Samsung is from Fry's, but it is on backorder and the Panasonic is available for pickup at Best Buy right now. What do you think?I'm trying to decide which order to cancel.Does the Panasonic at Best Buy use the same hardware as the other Panasonics that were not holiday-only models?

The Panasonic is a much better unit. CU ranks Panny as #1 in their Nov and Dec reports. I work in the industry and know both companies well. The Koreans are getting better, but Pioneer and Panasonic are in a different class than are LG and Samsung.Astrobuf

I work at a best buy and personally i am gonna tell u that the samsung is the better choice. Samsung is one of the top selling lcd and plasma choices in our store. You can never go wrong with that samsung, plus that panasonic that u ordered was only a holiday item, so if something goes wrong, you can never get that same tv again, or good luck trying to get a new one if something goes wrong in a few months
