...picture. Any tips on connections? I have used the standard Wii cable with the scart adaptor and with the basic 3 coloured plugs (red, yellow and white).I get a slightly better picture when connecting the Wii through my DVD player, but it becomes too sharp!Help!

You can buy 480 p cables at most places. This will make the picture better.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8008988&type=product&id=11562033 88826Heres on example.

It's because you're using the standard scart adaptor, I had the same problem on my 55" plasma.Buy yourself some Wii component cables and connect using that. Then go to your Wii settings and change the output to 480p widescreen and your graphics and menus will be noticeably sharper and crisper!

make sure you have the HDMI plug. ask about it at your local electronic store. plus Wii never had that good of grafix anyway. dont be too concerned. I have xbox 360 and i have a 32'' LCD Sharp Aquos and i know there is a specific set of cables for HD on xbox and a special switch to set it on HD. Take a trip to radioshack and ask about stuff like that, they know all the specfic stuff.but make sure you have an HDMI plug atleast for regular cable and all HD channels. Good luck

Since it doesn't get more than 480p, HDMI is overkill. Component video cables work just fine.I agree with the others, get rid of the Composite cables.
