i have a panasonic viera hd ready tv can anyone tell me if its ntsc capable?

I think you're maybe asking the wrong question, but I'll answer as best I can:NTSC has a screen resolution of 550 linesPAL (the non-HD Europe/Japan equivalent) is 650.HD is either 720 or 1080 lines, so by definition, your TV is NOT NTSC.However, if you have an NTSC VCR/DVD etc with a SCART output, then so long as your TV have a SCART in, you can play NTSC videos/DVDs
