Chosing between panasonic Viera plasma TH42PZ700 with discount or the TH42PX70...

...has anyone compared them? PZ700 is much higher specification but appears to get bad reviews compared to the cheaper PX70.

I have looked at this, spoken to shop salesmen and most seem to give the cheaper tv the nod. There is several hundred pounds of difference between the two and until all channels are put out in HD, I couldnt notice any visible difference in the picture between the two. Some will say thats untrue but I reckon I will buy the px70 and put the difference into a PS3 and extra wine for xmas. Happy shopping...

Go for the PX70. Also make sure you buy from an independant store as we're giving a FREE 5 year warranty with them
