Do you have a panasonic HDD camcorder and know how it works?

I am trying to upload recorded images from my camcorder to my laptop.The photos have been transferred OK but the videos are a real challenge. I get into the Camera Suite and thumbnails do not pop up. The videos just won't copy. Any ideas?
