Default My Panasonic TV was clicking when I turned it on but has now stopped clicking....?

A strange question I think, but I bought a Panasonic Viera 42" plasma approx. 6 weeks ago. When I've been turing the power on (via remote control) the TV from day 1 was making a click click click noise (3 clicks) as it powered up. Today though, that stopped. There was a noise like I had switched the TV on (click click click again) but while the TV was off and then a little while later when I switched it on there were no clicks and haven't been any since!Does anyone have any idea what this could all be about?

Do you have any other Viera capable unit connected to this unit, it is possible that you are not turning you TV off but turning off the source to the TV. The clicks are normal, they are your relays turning on on your power supply. The relays then provide high voltage to take your TV out of standby to TV on. Try unplugging your TV for about 15 sec, then plug the TV back in, you should hear relays click as soon as your apply power, then again when you turn the unit on. The fact that you are not hearing the relays click, is telling that the unit is not powering down, but the the input is no longer sending signal. Either way if the unit is still working, i wouldnt worry about not hearing the relays
