what does the AUX button mean on my panasonic sa-ak320?

The AUX button is for switching to an external source such as a Phono Equilizer, download the operation instructions

The Ipod might work through the AUX or hook up through on of the video inputs with a video (yellow cable) still connected to another source, some units will not play composite audio without video.
