Default Sony DCR-VX1000, Sony DCR-VX2000, Sony DCR-VX2100 or Panasonic AG-DVX100?

I am looking into getting a good video camera cause I am wanting to get into movie/documentary making.































I have been doing research and it comes down to these 4 cameras....































Sony DCR-VX1000, Sony DCR-VX2000, Sony DCR-VX2100, or Panasonic AG-DVX100,































I was researching and they say the sony 2000 and sony 2100 arent too much different.































Which one do you think I should get?















Do you have any of them?

Sony Handycam CCD-TRV138































Panasonic PV-21-VHSC (just bought on ebay)















(I know its old school but want a couple different looks)































Samsung SC-DC173U DVD camcorder (just bought on ebay)

I'll go for the panasonic. I trust them and sony's start doing weird things when they get older. Plus panasonic is more compatible with all computers, and chances are the lens will be much better quality than that of the Sony's.

I have DCR-VX2100 the video and low light performance is good - it does a wonderful job in both ways. The DCR-VX2100 also offers a host of manual control options making this a real professional camcorder.
