Yeah, my parents are getting a new TV, but the problem is... which one and what to choose? My mum are picky about money, she wants a cheap, yet a very good quality image with 1080p, Full HD, etc...































So what do you think? Please help me out!

plasma 50 pioneer elite kuro blackest blacks excellent tv has it all pure performance much better than any lcd I have ever seen and I have 2 of them also

LCD, they last longer and you don't have to worry about images burning to your screen as you do with plasmas. They cost about the same but LCDs are way better. Walmart always has great deals on them too. We got a 47 inch Vizio that is regular $1200 for $880. Here is a website with comparisons.

don't listen to kenyan saying plasma's have burn in, as long as you buy a respectable plasma like panasonic you will have no burn in and a 42 inch 1080p panasonic plasma can be from 1000-1300 dollars depending on which year was made the 2008 models can be 1000 dollars now, and also these plasma's last 40 000 hours longer than LCD. This person kenyan says LCD'S are the best and said pick the cheap no name VIZIO haha, those LCD'S will not last long and LCD's suffer from very bad picture durring fast motion, you would have to spend like 3000-4000 dollars on a really good LCD to really reduce blurring like the 240hz samsung lcd, wouldn't it just make more sense to grab the panasonic plasma TV'S , the 2008 models have 480hz and 2009 have 600hz refresh rates, the Vizio LCD is only 60hz, talk about talking out of your a$$.
