when i open my screen to record nothing shows up. and when i try to watch what is on the tape white lines show up on to the video. Panasonic camcorder model pv-gs31 please help.















Its a fairly new camera; I bought in US. After 3months I bought the camera, it had lines and its 1 yr now..it still shows lines even if i chnge the tape. do u think there is an issue with alignment?

Start with a tape head cleaner ('bout £20), give that a run through about 3 times, then give it a go with a new tape.. If no joy the heads might have come out of alignment and will need resetting.
