My vcr is ejecting the tape as soon as it is inserted? A good panasonic machine

a VCR? Wow I didnt even know those still existed?! It could be the cassette u are putting in, or u may need a head cleaning tape, if they still sell those. Otherwise I would have to agree that it's the device.

I think your VCR has a broken belt at the loading device or the servo driver IC is broken.Take it apart and see !!
