i have this old panasonic camcorder that dosnt work for more than 30 seconds i charge its battery but it still dosnt work what should i do?i have a new one but this one has sentimental valueswhats a ac adapter?the charger has a dc outlet

Do not spend one cent trying to fix it because it's yesteryear's technology. Start using your new one and your old camcorders sentimental value will be replaced.

Maybe it's just a bad battery - did you try to power the camcorder using the AC adapter?
