Best Buy recommends that I buy their $100 HDMI monster cable, and it seems a little expensive for just a cable. Do I really need to spend that kind of money on a cable to get a good picture or are there other cables that will do the same thing for a lot less?Any suggestions on where to go or what cables will work would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for the advice I will look at Wal-mart

Good God no! go to Wal-Mart or Target and get one for 29.99.. If you got this from a major dealer (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.. ) they have a real problem telling you that you need a "Monster HDMI" blah blah yap yap. Don't believe the hype. My 1080 does a great job with a Panasonic brand cable from Wal-Mart and that's with HD DVD.Now, I will say that I read that you need to invest in more expensive cables if you plan to run it over 25 feet or more.Hope that helps.
