panasonic dvd player s35?

my s35 dvd player is not playing any sound. i have connected the white/red/yellow cables from the dvd player to TV and the dvd is running fine but no sound. is there another cable I need to add?

A few things to try:The red/white cable is your audio and the yellow is video. Make sure you are inserting the red/white cable into the audio out of your DVD player and into the audio in on your TV.Are your TV speakersworking correctly - can hear sound from other sources, ie cable tvIf you can hook up dvd audio to another source to make sure the sound output is working correctlyTry a new cable (I've had a cable go out on me just recently)
