Panasonic has reformulated the phosphor in all their plasma TVs & they are much less susceptible to burn-in. I have seen Samsung 42" plasma TVs with permanent burn-in while Panasonic Plasma TVs removed the same images with only three hours of running a Gallery Player slide show (burn-in caused by running the same Dish Network Advertisment for months while TVs where on display in a show-room). I could never recommend a Samsung Plasma TV over a Panasonic!
