Is sony a better tv or panasonic?

I just bought a panasonic one but didnt watch on it yet because i might return it. what should i do. The panasonic tv has 1080p

Did you get a Panasonic plasma?I think that they make great plasma sets, they are usually the top rated in their class, but Sony stopped making plasmas, so it is not a fair comparison. As far as LCD sets go, Sony or Samsung have better sets I think. It just depends what kind of set you are interested in. Panasonic makes great products and they usually get good reviews. The only TVs of theirs that I am not too fond of are their LCD projection sets.
